Rules and Conditions


Prices are for a stay from Saturday to Saturday. Please contact us in case of arrival on different days and for stays shorter or longer than 7 days. Weekly prices are based on the season and the property. Prices usually include the cost of electricity, water and linen (sheets, towels). The cost of heating, air conditioning and final cleaning is usually not included in the weekly price and has to be paid as an extra. The final cleaning fee varies depending on the property.

Terms of Payment

30% of the rental price must be paid at the time of booking, while the remaining 70% must be paid one month before the arrival date. Payment can be made by bank transfer but also by PayPal, which will incur an additional charge of 4%.


All payments are final, in case of cancellation we will try to re-rent the period you have confirmed, and in that case the full amount, minus bank or similar charges incurred, will be returned.

Security Deposit

Each individual property has a different Policy regarding the security deposit and this is specified in the price-list of each individual property. The deposit must be paid in euros and cash on your arrival, directly to the owner; it will then be returned on your departure, less the cost of any damages or breakages found by the owner. Any extra costs (such as heating, air conditioning and any other services) must be paid directly to the owner before you leave.


On payment of the balance of the rental price, ICREA will send details of how to get to the property, who to contact and a voucher to present on arrival. Arrival is permitted between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. If you know that you will not be able to arrive by this time, you must contact ICREA CORTONA. On the day of arrival, if you are late and feel that you will not be able to arrive by 7 p.m., please telephone our office or directly to the owner, whose number will be indicated on the voucher, so that we can arrange a late appointment or one for the following day, always taking into account the owner’s availability.


The rented property must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure, as it must be prepared for guests arriving on the same day.

Property Availability

If there are exceptional circumstances (fire, flood, etc.), and the property is not available, the owner and ICREA CORTONA will make available another property of equivalent or superior quality. In the event that we have no acceptable or possible alternative, we will cancel the contract. The liability of ICREA CORTONA and the owner will be limited to the return of the amount paid for the rental.

Number of people

Only the number of persons indicated on the voucher provided with your arrival documents may stay in the property. The maximum number of people that can stay in each property is indicated in the description, and confirmed on the voucher. The maximum number of persons may not be exceeded unless we have confirmed in writing the owner’s consent; failure to comply with this rule may result in termination of the contract without refund of the price paid.


Animals will not be accepted in the rented property unless we have written confirmation of the owner’s consent. In some properties there is an additional charge for animals.


ICREA Agency declines all liability for theft or damage due to majeure force (e.g. wars, riots, natural disasters), or for any accident or theft suffered by the client during the period of their stay, or for gas, electricity and water outages attributable to public authorities. We encourage our customers to take out a holiday cover policy prior to arrival.


Complaints must be made immediately by telephone or in person to the ICREA CORTONA office, so that we can endeavour, as far as possible, to resolve the problem. Complaints must be confirmed in writing before the end of the stay. Complaints communicated after the end of the stay will not be taken into consideration. In the event of a dispute, the Court of Arezzo will have jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 - “Code regarding the protection of personal data”, the agency ICREA CORTONA is required to inform you about the processing of your personal data. Your personal data provided at the time of booking will be used exclusively for administrative, management and communication purposes. The data recorded upon arrival will be transmitted to public safety authorities in compliance with legal obligations. As customers or potential customers, the data being processed are generally of a common nature, since they consist essentially of personal identification elements. The provision of your data is compulsory for the achievement of the above-mentioned purposes; failure to provide your data, or the provision of partial or incorrect data, may make it impossible to provide you with the requested services. In relation to the purposes described above, personal data are processed using manual, computerised and telematic tools with logics strictly related to the above-mentioned purposes and in any case in compliance with the relevant regulations in force. The data is kept and controlled by the agency in compliance with the confidentiality and security measures provided for by the same decree in Articles 31 et seq.
